Empower Her Venture (EHV) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs in South Africa. We provide essential tools, resources, and networks to help transform business ideas into successful ventures. Our partnerships with financial institutions like FNB, Standard Bank, and ABSA, along with corporate allies such as Pick n Pay and Generations Business Enterprise (in collaboration with Anglo), enable us to offer vital support, mentorship, and funding to women-led businesses.

EHV also seeks to collaborate with government agencies like SEDA, DTI, SEFA, and IDC to enhance training and development opportunities. Through networking events, mentorship programs, and workshops, we create a resilient community of women who uplift each other. Our guiding principle is #LiftAsYouRise—because when women support one another, everyone thrives.
About The Founder
Pana Xhalabile is the founder of Empower Her Venture and a prominent figure in South Africa’s business landscape. With over 15 years of experience in mining, catering, and logistics, she has navigated the challenges of male-dominated industries with resilience and strategic thinking. Inspired by her mother, Sophie Xhalabile, who rose from a domestic worker to a successful businesswoman, Pana is committed to empowering others.

As the founder of Generations Business Enterprise, Generations Engineering, and Generations Logistics, she provides vital services in mining towns, addressing logistical and engineering challenges. Beyond her business success, Pana is dedicated to community development, actively engaging in initiatives that uplift local communities, particularly in mining areas.
